Pravčická gate
Pravčická gate is the biggest natural arch in Europe. It is considered the most beautiful natural formation in the Czech-Saxon Switzerland region. And it is the symbol of the whole area. In the deep woods, not far from Hřensko, surrounded by a mysterious peace sometimes time seems to stop. That is the real experience of Pravčická gate. For generations it has attracted nature lovers with its magic. Many of us have already visited it and those who have not might have seen it in a picture at least. When you stand under this stone arch you are amazed by its size. The dimensions of Pravčická Gate are impressive but when seen close up it is truly amazing. The arch spans 26.5 meters. It is 16 meters high, 7-8m wide, the minimum thickness is 3 meters and the top flat is 21meters above the ground. At the entrance of Pravčická gate there are trails and stairs leading to several view points high above the tree tops from where you can see Pravčická gate or enjoy other beautiful views and vistas. Soutěsky
Soutěsky http://www.hrensko.cz/soutesky/ Magnificent gorges in the valley Kamenice, navigable by 1890. They are one of the biggest tourist attractions of the National Park Czech Switzerland. Directions: From hotel Belveder you can walk along two tourist way. From hotel Belveder can you walk to Hřensko along two tourist way. Firt way is red way, is 1,5 hour long to Hřensko, or second is green way, is 40 minutes to Hřensko. From Hřensko it is 30 minutes walk to soutěsky. By car is Hřensko c. 6,5 km away. Then you have to leave your car in the parking lot in Hřensko (paid parking lot behind a restaurant Klepáč).
Tiské stěny
Tiské walls www.tisa.cz On the edge of the Labské sandstones in the village Tisá where you can find a picturesque sandstone town. While walking through this town you will be surprised by the bizarre shapes of the rocks that will remind you of faces, animals and other things. Let your fantasy flow in this rocky empire. Directions: By car: from hotel Belveder you have to go to Děčín – direction Sněžník a then Tisá. From Jílové u Děčína and Ustí nad Labem you go to Libouchec and then to Tisá. Dolský mlýn
Dolský mill www.dolsky-mlyn.cz In the canyon of The Kamenice River you can find a romantic place, the ruins of a former mill. The mill is well known mainly from the fairy tale “A proud princess”. The surroundings of the mill and the Kamenice river make for a very charming place. Location:1 km from Vysoká Lípa, 3 km west of Jetřichovice and 1 km east of Kamenické hillsides.
Šaunštejn

Panská skála
A Manor´ s Rock This is a basalt monolith, known mostly from the fairy tale “The Proud Princess”. You can also see here a small but very deep lake. You can find this place near to the road at the end of Kamenický Šenov in Nový Bor direction. It is accessible throughout the year.

Děčínský Sněžník
Děčínský Sněžník At a height of 723 meters, Děčínský Sněžník rieses about the town of Děčín. It is located on the highest mesa in the country. There is a view tower on the mountian with the same name as the mountain itself, Děčínský Sněžník. Děčínský Sněžníkis attractive not only for the magical view of Lužické mountains and Czech Saxon Switzerland but also for its unique air quality. Thanks to the thermal air currents around the mesa, the local air mixes with winds blown in from the north sea. The dry thermals mixed with the fresh sea air make for an especially healthy air quality. The local people refer to the area as an “air spa” In Sněžník are ways for cross-coutry skis and race dog train. Directions: By car you go 1.5kms to the view tower (either from Labská Stráň – Děčín, or Jílové u Děčína). You will find a paid parking lot. Walking to the top is allowed only on the paved pathway. Rozhledna Jedlová
Rozhledna Jedlová www.jiretin.cz Jedlova mountain is one of the highest mountians in the Lužické mountains. On its peak there is 23 metre high view tower. There is a wonderful 360 degree view of the surroundings mountains. At Jedlova Mountain there are 4 downhill courses lifts. The length of one course is more than 1 km.
Pastýřská stěna

Bastei
Bastei One of the dominating features of the Saxon Switzerland. It is the sandstone rock bridge, it is 76metres long and was marked as a technical monument. The bridge connects Bastei with the rock castle Neurathen. While crossing the bridge you will have a wonderfull view of the surrounding (Lilienstein, Paffenstein, Koenigstein,….as far as Dresden). Pevnost Königstein
Fortification Königstein www.festung-koenigstein.de This is a unique early example of a fortified building in Europe. It has 40 meters high walls and sits on a mesa in the middle of the beautiful area of Saxon Switzerland. The area of 9.5 ha with 2.2kms of wall offers a fantastic view of the Elbe sandstones and East Středohoří. Opening hours: April to September, daily 09:00 – 20:00, October 09:00 – 18:00, November to March daily 09:00 – 17:00. On 24.12 its closed. On 31.12 the fortification is opened only till 15:30. Admission fee: Adult 5 EUR. Children younger than 16 yrs, students, handicapped and unemployed ( proof necessary ) 3EUR. Children younger than 6yrs no fee, family admission fee (parents and their own children younger than 16yrs) 12 EUR.
